The 2023 track and field season will start with spring sports and continue until the end of the Junior Olympic Summer Track Nationals meet. This year, nationals will be held at the historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
This means you will have to register in two places. Club members must obtain their USATF card from http://www.usatf.org/. Make sure you register as a member of the Prefontaine Track Club #37-0370. Proof of the membership will be necessary to compete and participate in Epuerto Sports Track and Field.
Age of athletes will be from seven (7) years old to eighteen (18) years old. Because the junior high and high school athletes will have their own school seasons in the spring, registration will remain open the entire season.
Our goal is to create a space where all athletes can compete at the highest level with the most opportunity. This means all athletes will complete locally during our Spring season, but also have the prospect during summer to compete at the state, regional and national level as well. This allows for competitors to sharpen their skills and test their talents against the top athletes in their age groups from around the state, region and nation.
Parents/athletes will be financially responsible for individual meet entries should you choose to continue into the summer portion of the club. Members are not obligated to compete in any summer meets.
